The 2011 Buddy Walk!!!

Mark your calendars for December 3rd--the Winegars will be participating in our first ever Buddy Walk to honor not only Mara but all other individuals with Down Syndrome.  You can donate to our walk or come on down and walk with us!  (It's only a mile, so you have no excuse!)  We'd love to see as many of you there as possible!  The link to our page is below--this is where you can register to walk, donate, or both!  Feel free to call or email Catie if you have any questions!!!

Our Boy Wonder

Aidan received a number of awesome birthday presents that he loved, but I'm afraid that this one, courtesy of the Petits, is by far the most appropriate...and amazing.  Aidan mistakenly refers to it as his birthday "cake" (he also says "animal crappers" so it's par for the course) and has taken to asking for it, then getting Elvis to chase him as he careens around the house, cape flying!  It's pretty much the best thing ever.

At first, he wasn't so sure about it--we had to keep telling him how cool it was...

...but he caught on to its greatness pretty quickly...

...and then there was no stoppin' him!

She is starting to really respond to her environment since we got the glasses to fit somewhat correctly.  Mommy is convinced she's received some non-gas-related smiles! Contacts have been ordered--as cute as these spectacles look, they interfere with our snuggling!

All girlfriend needs is a lightning bolt drawn on her forehead and she will be the cutest Harry Potter look-alike ever!  (Note:  Baby glasses--look cute, sound good in theory, but in practice--they stink.  Total pain in the rear.  So we've started the process to get her contact lenses and yes, they will give a bambina this little lenses.  Stay tuned for THAT adventure!)

As for this big ham, he single-handedly provides us with enough stories to fill up an entire blog!  He's a riot!
